Ferromagnetism. Ferromagnetic materials exhibit magnetism spontaneously with out being subject to a magnetic field due to the non-alignment of the magnetic spins of the electrons rotating round the atoms. Ferromagnetic materials can, however, also become permanently magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field. Ferromagnetic properties change with temperature.
