Electrical Conductance
Electrical Conductance. The electrical conductanceof a circuit (C) is inversely proportional to the electrical resistance (R) of the circuit and is measured in reciprocal ohms (given, for obvious reasons the units of mho’). Thus C =1/R and is a measure of the ease by which electricity can flow through the circuit. Conductance is a property of the circuit and not a property of the materials from which the circuit is composed.
